The credit card issuing bank or issuer, as the term goes, refers to the banks that issue credit cards. The name of the bank which issued your card can usually be found displayed prominently on the front of your credit card or on the back within the small print. Need help finding your Issuing bank? 1. With the front of the card (which displays the card number and expiration date) look for the prominent bank name which should be displayed on the front of your card.
2. With the magnetic strip and signature box facing you read the small print, typically found on the bottom of the card. You may find a sentence, such as "This card is issued and serviced by (or property of) Name of Issuing Bank" This is the card-issuing bank.
3. With the magnetic strip and signature box facing you, look at the top left corner of the card. You may find the website or full title of your bank such as "www.issuingbankname.com"
